Partners in Spirit is a multi-generational retreat partnering two cohorts: emerging adults (ages 18-25) seeking to strengthen their understanding and experience of Quaker spiritual practices as well as more experienced Friends seeking to grow in their gifts as mentors and spiritual nurturers.
This retreat is designed to foster cross-generational spiritual friendships through unpacking Quaker tradition, sharing in spiritual practices, and dismantling barriers to meaningful mentoring relationships. Participants will leave energized and prepared for the next step on their spiritual journey, with greater clarity of its connection to the larger Quaker movement.
FACILITATORS
Hilary Burgin and Nia Thomas will be joined by guest teachers Kristina Keefe-Perry and Mary Link.
Hilary Burgin is the incoming Executive Director of Quaker Voluntary Service and previously served as the Young Adult Engagement Coordinator for New England Yearly Meeting.

Together, Nia and Hilary work to grow the Quaker movement and support the spiritual growth of Friends in the young adult life-stage.
Kristina Keefe-Perry is the mother of a third grader, an avid cyclist, and a member of Fresh Pond Monthly Meeting, NEYM. Mary Link, recent clerk of Ministry & Worship at Mount Toby Monthly Meeting, first came to Friends at age 19. She brings a lifelong appreciation for mutual mentoring; ever grateful for wonderful mentors who nurtured and helped open the way for her, she is called to passing that gift forward.
