Our vision is to provide a welcoming sanctuary
where people come to be restored and inspired,
and leave with the strength to act out of love,
sowing seeds of peace that lead to a world transformed.

Woolman Hill is a Quaker retreat center situated on 110 acres of beautiful meadows and woods in the Connecticut Valley of western Massachusetts. Founded on the Quaker belief that there is that of God in every person, we welcome all who wish to nurture the spirit within and without.
Our center offers a peaceful atmosphere for retreats, meetings, and celebrations. We welcome many types of events, including non-profit, social service, educational, and faith-based gatherings, family reunions, weddings, and personal retreats.
Our simple facilities include a 150-year-old farmhouse, a relocated historic Meeting House, a housekeeping cottage, three small cabins, and a spacious one-bedroom unit available for extended individual retreats.
We can host rental groups of up to 40 people overnight, and up to 150 guests for weddings.
We welcome individuals to come for a personal retreat, to participate in one of our weekend programs, or to attend midweek worship.
We hope to see you on the hill soon!
