Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have cell phone coverage?

Cell phone coverage varies on the hill, depending on your carrier. If you need to give someone an emergency contact number while you are here, please check your reception when you arrive and if it is not adequate, the staff person on duty will give you the appropriate number to use as an emergency contact while you are on the hill.

Do you have internet access?

We have wireless internet that reaches some of the buildings on the hill. Because our facility is at the end of the phone company’s service line, there is some unreliability. If the internet is essential to you while you’re here, please contact us to double-check what the best options are.

How many people can you accommodate?

We can accommodate about 35-40 people overnight (depending on the type of group), and we can host  full-day or partial-day outdoor events for up to 150 people. Click on the link to read more about our group rentals.

What are your rates?

We are happy to give you our rate structures by phone or e-mail – just contact us and let us know what type of use you’re interested in, and we’ll give you all the juicy details!

Do you have a chart of the bedrooms?

We have a simple document that lists the various sleeping spaces, and which building they’re in. You can find it here.

Do you allow pets?

Sorry, but we don’t allow guests to bring any pets to the hill. Over the years it has proven to be simplest for us to have a clear no-pets policy. We understand that many people consider their pets to be part of their families, and we regret that we can’t accommodate them.

Do you allow candles?

We do not allow any open flames (including candles, smoking or lanterns) inside any of our guest buildings. You are welcome to bring battery-powered candles, and there are outside receptacles for cigarette butts. We lost a building to a candle, so this policy is based on experience…

Can we set up a tent to camp in?

We welcome a limited number of guests who are here as part of a group rental or wedding to set up tents in the main area of our campus. Please have your group coordinator confirm with us the best locations.

Is it ok to come and walk on the trails?

We usually welcome people to make use of our trails; we ask that you please notify us by e-mail or phone before you come to make sure that it won’t be disruptive to any of our guests and to alert us to your arrival.

Do you accept credit cards?

We currently take cash, checks, or money orders. Payments may also be made in advance through our PayPal system – please contact us if you have any questions.
